ABOUT US

Alma Hispanic Coalition (HisCo) invites participants in the first “Día de los muertos Race to Remember 5k Run/Walk and Kid’s Fun Run” on Sunday, November 5th, 2017 on the Alma College campus. Traditionally celebrated on Nov 1-2, Day of the Dead (Día de los muertos) celebrates life through remembering those who have passed.  We invite runners and walkers to run in memory of loved ones (en memoria de los seres queridos). Cultural information will be part of the event.

Proceeds from the 5K will support HisCo's annual Toiletry, School Supply, and Winter-Wear drives; the HisCo Book Scholarship Fund; and other HisCo events.
